We here at SHEeo love sharing things we currently enjoy with each other. So we've decided to extend it to our fellow SHEeos! For this month, we're introducing our staff picks. A series where we just talk about what's been floating our boat at the moment.
For our first entry, we're looking at apps! Admittedly, we've all been using our phones a lot too— not just for work but also for recreational activities. We've all been trying our hand at different things this quarantine so whether you're into photo editing, fitness, or trying to learn a new skill, these apps might pique your interest.
With that said, here are some apps you can find in our phones. Check them out:
"Rave is like a Netfix party for mobile. You can watch shows and movies or YouTube videos with your friends and family. My fiancé and I love watching together pre-LDR (he's been in LA since 2018) so we usually just play the video/movie at the same time just so we can talk about what's happening while watching. "Headspace is your guide to everyday mindfulness in just a few minutes a day. With all that's been happening in our world it's easy to absorb negative energy and succumb to stress. I've wanted to try a meditating app that can help me stay calm and have a positive disposition in these trying times. Headspace does exactly that for me. It clears my mind and aids in segregating my thoughts so that I could think more rationally and act more mindful. What's great is that it has a lot of different options for different kinds of meditation (e.g. lessen stress, improve focus, increase motivation, etc.) You should definitely check it out!
