Make the coming year a fruitful one.

If this year has taught us anything, it's that valuing and investing in yourself is one of the best decisions you can ever make. It’s just a win-win situation. And while we continue to help others that are more in need and show kindness and love, we shouldn’t forget to share those same things to ourselves too. If you haven’t already this 2020, make sure to make yourself a priority for 2021. With that said, here are five different ways you can invest in yourself more for next year:

  • Prioritize Your Health.

  • Starting this list, is the one thing we all protected the most this 2020- and that is being healthy. Besides taking all of your vitamins and squeezing in some exercise throughout your week, eating clean and healthy as much as you can will help you be in tip top shape tremendously. Making simple diet switches like eating a granola trail mix as a snack instead of a bag of chips, or switching from store-bought sweet spreads to homemade nut butters will help you cut back without sacrificing taste. Baby steps are still considered a win!

  • Journal with Intention.

  • With everything that’s happened with the pandemic and all the difficult things we’ve all had to go through, both as a community and as an individual, all of those things can take a toll on anyone. We’re all just humans after all. So always look after your mental and emotional well-being as well. Journaling can really help ease your worries and document and help validate whatever you are feeling. Consider it your safe space where you can say anything and everything without the fear of being judged. And you can always go back to them after and remember that, this too shall pass.

  • Be Smarter with Your Finances.

  • Seeing as we’ll still be living the new normal even after everything, going digital is definitely the way to go. Of course, you still have to take extra precautions with your information and transactions but it’s just more convenient and safe, compared to lining up in a physical bank. If you have the extra coin, definitely download one of those paid apps that help you track your spendings and income. They usually have more features that help you customize it according to your needs and are more secured.

  • Become a more conscious consumer.

  • With all the brands that were found and/or developed this year alone, we as consumers, have more options now more than ever. Be it with food or clothes, try to buy from small businesses. Support a friend who cooks or buy clothes from ethical brands and vintage stores. They’re unique, more sustainable than fast fashion, and you know what you're buying was made and curated with love.

  • Find your community.

  • Besides the delivery person being the only other human interaction we’ve probably had this year (aside from the people we’ve been quarantining with), the Facebook group or Messenger group chats that you’ve found yourself typing away all day in at or scheduling video calls with, are probably the only things that have made you feel like there’s a world outside of your room. That’s exactly how it’s like for The SHEeo Society. We’ve built a community of strong, driven entrepreneurs who have different goals, but share the same passion and focus in creating successful brands. It's a safe place for sharing business insights, struggles and lessons, but also for k-drama recos, skincare talks, and fangirling over Blair Waldorf. It's definitely an experience!

The SHEeo Society gave me the confidence and push I needed to grow and elevate. I’ve always second guessed myself when it comes to following my dreams and taking a leap, but Maine and my fellow SHEeos have given me nothing but support.

This club truly lives up to what they say it is — a safe space for women to share their passion and goals.... Surrounding yourself with that kind of energy really rubs off on you. It’s rare to find an environment like that, and I’m so glad I made the bold move of joining th

It's really a club where everyone shares the same goal... I get help from Maine and her Programs which are super helpful! Bonus part, I get all the positive energy from the other club members as well. They're my motivation aside from my personal goals.

Being part of the SHEeo Society made me more confident, made me more intelligent with decisions, and I got to be part of a group where women support one another. I used to be scared to just go for the things I want to do because I was anxious of people judging me, but with the push I got from the SHEeo Society, it made me build a business and made me realize that people will support me no matter what.
