By now we can all agree that Zoom meetings aren't going anywhere soon. As we're slowly trying to create a new daily routine—which for many of us includes a work-from-home set up, there's really no going around the online meets. It may be a struggle to get yourself in the right headspace for work when you've been living in sweatpants for some time now but dressing up can help you out with that.

With months of being in isolation, it's understandable to be a bit rusty when it comes to your sartorial choices. So we asked celebrity stylist Joy Bernardo of the Stylized team to share some of her Zoom styling tips. Now these ones are especially helpful for when you're the one administering the meeting, but, of course, it can also be useful to anyone who has a scheduled face-to-face web interaction anytime soon. We suggest using the opportunity of dressing up for work once in a while to feel like there's life outside of the walls of your house. That said, here are Joy's tips to look professional. Check them out:

1.Go for vibrant colors.

For her first tip, Joy suggests having a pop of color to spruce up your outfit. "To look more awake & work-from-home-ready, go for colorful tops. But best to go with solid colors with no busy prints as it can be distracting on screen."

 2. Throw on a blazer.

The easiest cheat to looking professional? Blazers. "To look more authoritative, add on this piece to any cute top of your choice. It can always be your pajama top, no one would know!"

3. Wear a Dress.

Wearing formal bottoms can feel like an extra step when dressing for a meeting. After all, we wouldn't dare think of swapping our comfortable slouchy pants for jeans right now. So Joy offers a compromise for this dilemma. "I'm all for the half-dressing as I am lazy by nature but I guess to feel more productive and motivated, wearing a full outfit to 'work' can help. It gives you a sense of normalcy despite our situation right now. One way you can do this is by opting for a dress instead. So that even when you do happen to stand, you still have a full outfit on."

4. Opt for form-fitting clothes.

Even if we're only appearing as tiny squares in our meetings, it's still important to look our best so always consider dressing for your body type by wearing nice-fitting clothes. "Go for body-hugging tops rather than oversized ones to avoid looking too bulky on screen."

5. Accessorize!

And lastly, add-on some finishing touches can really add to your outfit. "Put on some earrings or your favorite gold necklace to add more flavor to the outfit and to look more put-together. They will never know even if you just rolled out of bed, I swear!"

Bonus tip:

Don’t forget to do your make-up! "It makes all the difference. Even as simple as going au naturale but adding a red lip, it just screams girl boss."

The SHEeo Society gave me the confidence and push I needed to grow and elevate. I’ve always second guessed myself when it comes to following my dreams and taking a leap, but Maine and my fellow SHEeos have given me nothing but support.

This club truly lives up to what they say it is — a safe space for women to share their passion and goals.... Surrounding yourself with that kind of energy really rubs off on you. It’s rare to find an environment like that, and I’m so glad I made the bold move of joining th

It's really a club where everyone shares the same goal... I get help from Maine and her Programs which are super helpful! Bonus part, I get all the positive energy from the other club members as well. They're my motivation aside from my personal goals.

Being part of the SHEeo Society made me more confident, made me more intelligent with decisions, and I got to be part of a group where women support one another. I used to be scared to just go for the things I want to do because I was anxious of people judging me, but with the push I got from the SHEeo Society, it made me build a business and made me realize that people will support me no matter what.
